Yalıkavak is a neighborhood in the Bodrum district of Muğla province.
With the merging of Gökçebel and Geriş villages on December 26, 1988, it became a municipality under the name of "Yalıkavak" and became a town.
Yalikavak is 18 km from Bodrum. It is located in the northwest of the peninsula. On a journey from Bodrum to Yalikavak, first a row of windmills and then the unique view of Yalikavak welcomes you. Yalıkavak Bay is located in the north-west corner of the Bodrum peninsula. The northern part of the bay is a peninsula in the shape of the letter L, facing north. There is no elevation, except for a few rocky, steep hills. The eastern and southern parts of the bay are the foothills of relatively high hills.
